How To Work With A Custom Clothing Factory
Working with a custom clothing factory isn’t complicated.
The following are the factors to consider when working with a clothing factory:
1, Determine the style and size.
Make sure you have the style you want. Having samples is even better, but if not, provide pictures or designs. Then, confirm the size you want. This will give you confidence when negotiating. Having clear styles and sizes not only reduces errors but also helps the factory understand your needs more quickly.
2, Ask the factory about your custom requirements.
First, ask if they can customize and what the minimum order quantity is. Factory collaborations generally fall into two categories: contract labor and materials and processing. Both types have a minimum order quantity. If a factory has a minimum order of 100 pieces, don’t ask if they can do 50. Smaller quantities naturally result in higher unit prices. Understanding these requirements can help avoid unnecessary trouble later.
3, Provide detailed information when inquiring about prices.
When asking for prices, at least provide a sample and an approximate quantity so the factory can give you a rough price. The exact price can only be determined after samples have been taken, so detailed communication is crucial. Remember that the more detailed information you provide, the more accurate the quotation will be, avoiding subsequent disputes due to price issues. ㅤ
4, There are particularities in the charge for pattern making.
Pattern making is charged, and the specific fee is determined by the style. In the early stage, you must communicate in detail with the person in charge of the clothing factory about the fabric, version, length, etc., so that the efficiency will be higher.
My dears, you must have a clear idea of the clothes you want to make. Although the cost of pattern making is not low, it is an important link to ensure the quality of the finished product, so don’t omit it.
